Dropdown menu voting..

Okay, the current dropdown script used for like, Options, Topic Tools and the poster name dropdowns work good in FF and IE, but it fails in Opera and I don't know what it does in Safari.
Getting the onclick method to work good and consistently is beyond my capacity for JavaScript and I would probably have to pay someone to write one that worked like IPB's or vB's, which I'm not. So, the question is, do you all like the current dropdowns and screw Opera (not really a good idea, cuz some people do use it..) or would you all rather a new hover over drop down? To give you an idea of what it would look like, visit this webpage and have a look.

I vote for the hover dropdown. You don't have to tell what you voted for if you don't want to, or you can and explain your reasons if you want, it's up to you.

Side note: The poll images suck, lol. I gotta fix that...

Well i say the hover, mostly because i've always thought they looked cool Tongue lol Also, if it would be easier on you to make it more usable browser-wide then once again i would have to go with the hover.

Re: Dropdown menu voting..

It's a little different. It's still onclick, but the dropdown will disappear when the mouse leaves the link and it's dropdown area. As long as the mouse stays in either of those two, the dropdown will stay visible. It also works with Opera now, so...

Re: Dropdown menu voting..

i like the hover look and functionality way better but placement is key to avoid annoying the users with unnecessary drop downs when trying to navigate through the page.
